RESULTS ARE IN GUYS! And I'm out of the tourney X3 I know it's traditional to write a big-ass journal post at this point SO!

Point 1: Everyone who FAILS and hasn't already checked out my opponent 's winning round needs to GO DO IT PLZ. It was my absolute pleasure to get beaten by you, Elli You're uber-talented and I know your entry in the finals is gonna be awesome. Thanks for a great round! <3 <3 <3

Point 2: Yes, I know he's only got one leg left but damned if I'm gonna leave Phaidan's story like that! There will be SEs X3 Ohohoho yes there will.

Point 3: I've dedicated pretty much all of my free time to Ebon Spire since April this year, a whole 8 months of my life! Aaaaaaand I don't regret a minute of it <3 At the best of times it was heavenly satisfying addictive crack and at the worst, like obsessively dragging myself on my naked belly through hot coals and glass, and it was often both of these things at the same time. It's definitely an experience I won't be forgetting any time soon. Prior to Ebon Spire my creativity was really taking a kicking and I was struggling to produce, well, anything, but now I feel full to bursting with ideas and enthusiasm. ES kickstarted my engines again in a way I thought was no longer possible.

The OCT was my first foray into the medium of comics and my first shot at OCTs in general, so I'm thrilled to have reached the semi-finals <3 Throughout the tourney ES has felt a lot more like a community collaboration than any kind of competition to me, so I'm not the least bit sad that I lost. Much more sad at the prospect of the whole thing ending! But I've met some amazing artists, made some hopefully longterm friends (you're never getting rid of meh! ), and I'd recommend the experience to anyone with a genuine passion for storytelling and working with other artists and writers. Enter only to win and you're missing out on the best part ;A;

A bajillion thanks to and the ES judges for hosting this thing <3 <3 <3 You guys made my year.

Right, I'm now 4 pages from completion of my round. Originally I was planning to be finished by the end of tomorrow and I HAVE done 4 pages in a full weekend before. But if I run over a little it's not too big a deal :3 I'm still planning to stagger my uploads so the full thing won't be posted until near the end of the round.

In other news I went go-karting yesterday and omg I am aching today! I only hit the tyre wall once but I did hit it very hard, so hard I almost flew out of the kart lol, and now I have a nice bruise on my side My forearms are aching the most though which means I might go slower than normal with the drawing this weekend. I'm well ahead of the end of the round though so if I can avoid killing myself, I will. There should still be plenty of time for gaming even if I run a few days over

Somehow I've managed to keep hold of the steam I had from the end of the last round, and I'm on top of my pages @___@ There are 19 in total and after posting the most recent page I'm just under halfway there with 3 weeks to go!

However, next Sunday I turn 24 so I anticipate it to be a lazy and alcohol-merry weekend. Might throw me off plan a bit but so far things are looking good!

Heeee, roughly 1 week to go until the Round 4 match-ups. I have one more SE to complete before then, and I'm hoping it'll leave me some time to spare to actually do that whole 'break' thing that everyone's been talking about.

Knowing me, though, I'd find a way to fill the time with something Spire-related. I am just a helpless physical puppet to the story that needs to be told! XD
