Somehow I've managed to keep hold of the steam I had from the end of the last round, and I'm on top of my pages @___@ There are 19 in total and after posting the most recent page I'm just under halfway there with 3 weeks to go!

However, next Sunday I turn 24 so I anticipate it to be a lazy and alcohol-merry weekend. Might throw me off plan a bit but so far things are looking good!

Heeee, roughly 1 week to go until the Round 4 match-ups. I have one more SE to complete before then, and I'm hoping it'll leave me some time to spare to actually do that whole 'break' thing that everyone's been talking about.

Knowing me, though, I'd find a way to fill the time with something Spire-related. I am just a helpless physical puppet to the story that needs to be told! XD

EDIT: OKAY, WHAT. This journal had been up maybe a few hours when those crazy judges posted the results already. I'm through! @___@ I'll be reeling over that one for a while! 2 week break though. I can live with that :'D

So, I made it! There was no journal entry yesterday because I spent the day doing things that did NOT involve my PC or Photoshop or Spire. BLASPHEMY, I know, but it's been a rough round and I really really really needed a break, so much to the extent that if I lose, I honestly will not mind. My gaming and movie-watching backlog is like THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS big D: and while having the Spire to throw myself into as a distraction when my grandad died was good, I'm feeling it catching up with me a bit now that I've got time to stop and reflect.

On the other hand, I'm feeling a lot more motivated than I was two weeks ago and I'm already brimming with ideas for what to do if I do, by some MIRACLE, beat 's amazing round which you should go and read right now btw, DO EET.

Working with Kaida and Zypher was completely different to how I'd been working in my previous rounds, which was mostly independently and giving my best guess into my opponents' characters. I had fun <3 and I hope I did Zypher (and LC!) justice!

_{This is also the first time I don't have a headstart and have to wait to find out the results No bus, plane, train or automobile can stop the machine that is Kaida! Maybe my curse has lifted finally! Although I think Kaida's machine nature reflected it back at me this round, with all the shit that happened}

All in all, a good round that I'm happy with X3 I can honestly say I gave it my best shot. There are areas that I know needed work/time/elaboration, but other parts I'm really proud of.

Now, I'm gonna go play more games while I wait on the results XD

Not gonna make a song and dance about this. Just a forewarning that there's been a death in my close family. Updates may be slower, chat-activity may be quieter or non-existent while I get my head around it.
